The Aims of our Pre-School

At Guilden Morden Pre-School our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where children learn through play. Children benefit from a structured, caring and supportive environment and where every child is nutured. Guilden Morden Pre-School is a small, friendly community based pre-school managed by an elected committeee of parents who are collectively responsible for the running of the setting.

About Us  

Guilden Morden Pre-School is a registered charity (No. 1019930) and is non profit making. The committee organise a variety of fundraising events to keep the setting running and to buy new equipment to benefit the children.

Children may attend Guilden Morden Pre-School from the age of 2 years through until rising 5’s.

The pre-school is led by a small, carefully selected team of experienced staff.


Monday 9.30 to 3.30pm

Tuesday 9.30am to 12 noon

Thursday 9.30am to 12 noon

Friday 9.15am and 11.45am*

Sessions are normally held in Guilden Morden School.

*Note that the Friday session is held at Guilden Morden Village Primary School, and is only for children starting primary school in the following year.

We offer lunch clubs om Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays this can extend the session from 12 noon to 1.00pm. A lunch club is available on Fridays and this extends the session from 11.45 to 12.45pm.
