Tribute paid to Barry Holme – Parish Council Chairperson 2009-2021
Barry Holme stood as Chairperson of the Parish Council for 12 years, from 2009, re-signing the post in April 2021, Cllr Holme has also served on the Parish Council for many years before becoming Chairperson and still is a serving member of the Council.
The Guilden Morden Parish Council paid tribute to Barry Holme for his sevice to the community and Geoff Harper, Vice Chairperson, presented Barry with a commemorative tankard on behalf of all Parish Council members with thanks for all the time dedicated to the role and the village.
Ken Lock was voted in as the new Parish Council Chairperson from April 2021.
