Guilden Morden Village Hall is operated as a charity to provide “a meeting place for village activities”.  These include community activities such as parish meetings, WI, pilates, yoga, bingo.  As well as having kitchen/refreshment and changing/shower facilities for village sports clubs it is also used for fund-raising activities by village organisations and private functions.

The Village Hall is located next to the Edward VII Public House in Fox Hill Road.

The nearest postcode is SG8 0JF.

The hall can be decorated for special events and has some resources to help transform it into a special venue, such as the Cherub Cricket Club’s celebration of their 500th match and a party for young children, and a bright blue one with plenty of party food and another that transformed the hall into a play barn.

“Thank you for being so helpful, what a fantastic venue – it had everything we needed”

The day to day running of the hall is managed by the Village Hall Management Committee on behalf of the Parish Council.  It is responsible for:

  • Hire of the hall
  • Maintenance of the building and safety checks
  • Ensuring the hall has the correct licences
  • Management of income and expenditure

We currently have a vacancy for a Chairperson
